About the Studio
The Patrick Violin Studio is located off of Telegraph Ave. near the 24 freeway in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. A teacher that uses a combination of Suzuki method and curriculum created by her mentor, renowned pedagogue Mimi Zweig, Rachel has over a decade of teaching experience in various settings and currently offers private violin and viola lessons.
Studio performance opportunities include frequent parent-hosted home concerts as well as end of semester studio recitals. Students will also be offered the opportunity to participate in group classes (depending on level) and small chamber music ensembles, once they reach an appropriate level.
Learning the violin can be challenging, fun, hard work, and rewarding. Musical expression can be such a wonderful way to communicate with others! If you or your child are interested in learning the violin or continuing your musical education, please fill out of the studio inquiry form on this page to schedule a consult.
